Baby Book Pages~ DUE 4/30 ....

If you are interested, we are making a baby book for Patchchild’s Baby Boy!! He is due June 1st. The idea is to make pages for the first year.

The idea is to create a two-page layout for your theme. You may chose as many themes as you would like. We will be making a 2- page layout in the 8 X 8 set up.

Maria34a had asked Patchchild previously the sizes she uses on pictures.. she has used 5 X 7 & 4 x 6 photos.. so the sky is the limit. :)

Everyone will send their creations to one person (Buffy; will post additional info later) and she will put all the pages into an album and send them on to Patchchild. DUE DATE FOR THE LAYOUTS TO BE RECEIVED IS April 30th. This will give us time to get them into the album and to Patchchild before the big day!!

Also please include a tag 2 x 3 in size embellished for the sign- in pocket. This tag should have your name, your DIS name, and what pages you created.

Here is a list of ideas, please feel free to suggest others, and who is completing these pages.

I made the others smaller and they are for a 3x4 photos (I can print two photos per page with my home photo printer.)

I did the hand and footprint pages. I have little hands and feet cut out for the actual prints (as well as a mat on the page for them to go on). I am not attaching them as i figured it would be easier to get the prints while not attached to the page.

I just have to make my tag. I will mail Monday. (I have to go to the post office and mail our taxes anyway- otherwise i would wait until tax day was past.

Can you change me from Grandma/Grandpa to Mommy Time? :lmao: I found this great paper and had to go with it! Sorry!!!! It just made a great set!!! if I have more time I will do the Grandparents page set, but for now just change me. I did do a very cute giggle page!!!! Will be mailing after Wed.

Yes in can be generic pages, I was just looking at the list to see where it would fit in!!!! That was left blank, so I thought it would fit! But if you want it to be a generic page, that will be just dandy!!!!! I was actually leaning more towards that anyway after I made it! The layout came out so beautiful!!!! My mother does most of my sewing for me. She has a Pfaff embroidary machine and she uses an 80 or 90 needle but the key is she uses Sulky thread. It really makes a huge difference. The stitches can't be too close together or it will pierce the paper and tear off.

There's a varierty of stitches used. I think they are much cuter than they appear in pics online.

I can't wait to see pictures - I'm working on a baby album for my friend (baby girl this time) and I'm itching for inspiration. I thought it would go quickly because after all, no photos or journalling, but I'm finding that because it's a gift and it's a little "fancier" than my pages usually are, it's taking longer than I usually take. Not that I have any use for it at all, but I almost don't want to give it up! It's some of my best work!
