Sunwing

Hi folks anyone know how sound Sunwing is? I got stung on Jetsgo. I need to book tickets Edmonton to Halifax for about 6 people in August and their fare is really good compared to WestJet or AC.

I haven't flown them..but I know that they only operate during certain times of the year and have only been in operation for a couple of summers doing the domestic flights.

That being said, I would give them a go and we are contemplating doing a trip to TO for $89 each way..cheaper than driving!

I booked Sunwing for August from Toronto - Halifax! They were far cheaper than AC or WJ. I could only get my flight to Halifax because we are leaving on a Friday and returning on a Saturday and they only fly Tuesdays & Fridays from Toronto to Halifax.

They are a sun destination airline (as there name says!) and I think they fill in the summer with Canadian flights.

My parents booked the same time I did on line and I booked through my travel agent as I also need a car and hotels for my family of 6. She did not give me any hesitation in booking - so they should be fine.

My only concern would be (not really a concern because it is summer) that they only have that 1 flight out a day - if something goes wrong you are out of luck and not just take the next flight out.

I saved $450 one way - so I am happy booking them!
