Are crocks a comfort thing or for looks? I personally think they are very ugly so they must be comfortable! they are all over these boards and driving me nuts! Sorry had to let off steam!

It's definitely not a looks thing. I imagine if crocs were not nearly as comfortable as they are, people would not wear them.

They are getting cuter but they are super comfy!! I broke my anke in Sept and after my cast came off they are the ONLY kind of shoes I've been able to wear since :) I love them!!! My husband has been begging me to get others but I won't budge ;)

We were in Disney this past Jan for 10 days and usually by the 2nd day I have blisters and swelling . I usually wear very expensive New Balance walking shoes. But this time I decided to try the Disney Crocs and let me tell you I am a big girl and I was still dancing thru the parks on day 10. My family could not believe it. I wore thorlo no blister socks with my Disney crocs ( I know it was a sight) but I had NO feet problems. Oh and I also have heel spurs and had to wear my orthodics in them and they were great!! I strongly recommend them if you ever have feet problems the crocs will be the solution. Good luck!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

Thank you for posting this question, and not to hijack your thread, but I'd like to ask.....do they make your feet sweat more than usual?? :confused3

Not to to gross, but I had always thought they looked comfy, but I wouldn't be able to handle the moisture factor.

I guess socks could be worn with them, what's the consensus here??

Thanks for the tips though, I'd love a pair!

Oh, one more thing, are the knock-off brands just as good??

DH bought me Mickey Crocs (grey with pink strap) for Christmas and I just returned from our trip and happy to report that my Crocs were SOOOOOOOO comfy. I wore them everyday to the parks and not once did they bother me. The one day I did have a blister was the day I wore my sandals :sad2:

They're ugly....but comfort comes first!! :thumbsup2

Welp, I just bought two pairs! I bought myself a pair at Dick's Sporting Goods, the celery color, and I bought my daughter the Mickey crocs at their web site, www.crocs.com she got the blue/lime green color.

Ohhhh it would be absolutely glorious if I could walk Disney this year without foot pain!!! Fingers are crossed these work for me!! :cool1:

Where can you got crocs?

Just google it, you can find them in all sorts of places. I just bought two pairs of mary jane crocs at dickssportinggoods.com for 40.98. That included free shipping & returns (which I hopefully won't need to use)!
Happy Shopping:yay:

They are more for comfort. ;) My mom didn't really like the look of them, but she did find some prettier looking ones for me at a department store (they cost more than the Disney crocs though).

The first time I wore them was to Epcot, and I wore them without socks. I did not develop any blisters and my feet were not sore by the end of the day! I love my crocs!

I love my crocs. I have plantar faciitis and these are the only shoes that are comfy. My feet do not sweat at all in them. I wore them last year to Sea World with no problems. I would not try the knock off brands though. I have friends that got them and then they got blisters!!

There are several styles of Crocs, in addition to the "clog" style that many people call ugly. Check out the Crocs website - I own several pairs of the "Nile" style and have had total strangers tell me how cute they are and ask where they can buy them. There is also a flip-flop style that is rather nice.

ok, I have to admit that I was one of those people that thought crocs were the ugliest things that people wear. I still think that they are ugly!!!:lmao: But DH, DD and myself tried a pair on at WDW, and I couldn't believe how comfortable they were. When we got back home, I bought DD a pair. Well I just bought my first pair this past weekend. They are the professional pair, without the holes on the top. I got them in black and now I want a pair in the pearl color. The pearl color is much nicer in person then on the web site. They show it more towards white, and they are really more light, light tan. Really nice looking. So now with being addicted to WDW, I am also a croc lover!!!

Ha ha ha that's what I was thinking... In Denmark nobody wants to wear them, so I was quite surprised when I saw how popular they are in WDW...

My DW bought me a pair & she got herself a pair of the Disney Crocs. I wore them this past weekend & I love them. We had at least 25 people ask us if they were comfy & they really are:thumbsup2
