WE HAVE RESSIES FOR AUGUST 2001...I HAVE READ MIXED REVIEWS ON THIS HOTEL. SOME REALLY GOOD AND OTHERS HORRIBLE. HELP!!! I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY AND ALL INFORMATION. GOOD OR BAD. I HAVE EVEN EXPRESSED MY CONCERNS WITH THE HOTEL AND THEY HAVE ASSURED ME THAT THIS IS NOT A DUMP. (BUT WHAT ELSE WOULD THEY SAY!!) TIA! KATIE

We stayed there back in 1998, at that time it was not bad at all. I keep reading the bad reviews it is getting here and I am so surprised. We are in the mids of planning a trip for next year and my sister and her husband are insisting on staying there again. I thaught I also read that they are renovating it, or have just recently,but have not heard anything more. I will say that back in 98 we had a great time there. It is close to the parks, I believe there is a grosery (sorry can't spell) store and a walmart across the street and plenty of places to eat along 192. The continantal breakfast did leave something to be desired, but oterhwise it was a clean place and housekeeping did a good job while we were there. Hopefully there have been others who have stayed there recently (especially since renovations) <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

YES, THERE HAVE BEEN SOME RENOVATIONS DONE..EX. NEW CARPET, NEW APPLIANCES , NEW BEDDING, ECT. THE MANAGER SENT ME A LIST OF ALL THE THINGS DONE TO THIS HOTEL AND THAT RENOVATIONS WERE COMPLETED IN APRIL OF 2000. HE EVEN SAID THAT MY ACCOMODATIONS WOULD BE INSPECTED BY MANAGEMENT IF IT WOULD MAKE ME FEEL BETTER! WE WERE CONSIDERING RENTING A VACATION HOME, BUT I THINK THE MAGICAL FEELING WOULD BE GONE IF WE DID THAT! I THINK WE ARE GOING TO KEEP OUR RESSIES AND HOPE FOR THE BEST. THANKS FOR RESPONDING! kATIE
