Hi!
Let me first say how excited I am to finally be "posting" on the DVC boards, as opposed to lurking!
We just bought into AKV--first time:goodvibes. I can't begin using these points until May 16th. Since we can't go to WDW until next year (it's one of those years where we are bleeding $$), we thought we might be able to squeeze a different vacation in during the summer. VB looked good to us--(no ticket expense). But I'm guessing that will be impossible to get into, especially since I can't book until May 16th.
Any suggestions? We can only travel in June or July (both DS' are in football). Should I consider paying cash for an Inn room? Would I be better off looking at the Rent/Trade board or trying to exchange through II to get something with that short of notice? Anyone have any experience with last minute ressies?
Any and all input would be much appreciated!
