At Disney in CA, you can have your child's height measured and then have them fitted with a colored wristband that lets you know what rides they can (or can't) ride...example, green for all rides, blue band for min 40", etc.
Does anyone know if they have the same thing at WDW?

I don't recall ever seeing, hearing, or being offered one for DD, so I would say no.

No, they do not offer this at WDW.

This is not true. There are no wristbands at Disneyland.
There are CMs at each ride both at the end of the line and at the front ready to measure any children that might not meet the requirement.
Having never been to WDW, my apologies, if I am incorrect, but from my reading here at the DIS, height requirements are measured the same way in WDW as in DLR.

Actually, Disneyland did a test run of this and the OP could have gone during that time or know someone who was there during that time so it could be 'true' for the OP anyway even if it isn't true now.
HERE's (http://www.mouseplanet.com/akrock/ak011212.htm) a link to an article about Disneyland testing the measuring with wristbands.

Thanks for the info and the link. That kind of system would clearly be easier for parents and kids, but my understanding is that it is not foolproof.
I just want to clarify, however, that at the current time, there are no wristbands like that at DLR.

We went a couple of years ago and they did do it then...However, I think I may have been thinking about Disney's California Adventure side. At any rate, I thought it was a great system...kept the lines moving (at least a little faster). Too bad if they don't have it anymore.
