Question for Simon

Simon,
I posted the other day re the Crowne Plaza hotel (thanks for the reply) but I was looking through some web sites and came across La Quinta in I Drive. Do you happen to know much about this one? I read in your book (grovel!) that the chain is "anxious to please" $69 dollars/night for B&B seems not a bad price.

Lynn, the new La Quinta on I-Drive is quite a reasonable hotel at that price. I haven't stayed there, but a tour round last year showed it to be smart, clean and well finished. I would certainly say it is one of the better hotel/motel chains in the area and it is VERY conveniently situated on I-Drive, with an exit on to Universal Boulevard as well as I-Drive.

Thanks very much Simon - I think that we will go ahead and book La Quinta ($70 for bed and breakfast) for our weeks stay on I Drive before hitting WDW.
