Hi, what kind of mattress do you have, and do you love/hate it? We had a Jamison last go 'round, and it was okay, but not fab. I have looked at the Heavenly bed, Simmons, Serta, etc. What do I buy????HELP!

If you have an "Original mattress factory" near you - go there! We now have 3 mattresses from them and I will NEVER buy anywhere else. The have the best prices and mattresses that I have found.

Good luck!

Which mattresses do you have from the OMF? I'm in the market, but I can decide between the Regency or the Orthopedic from the OMF or the "Heavenly" mattress from Simmons.

I'm about to hunt down a new mattress too.
It is very confusing as they make them so that you compare.

We bought good mattress for our three kids when they started to get adult size bodies. One per year. At that time I decided to get the very best I could and consider that you spend a lot of time with your matress and it makes a big difference in how a person feels. They last a long time, so I decided to compare how much each would cost amortized over the expected life of the mattress.

For the kids we ended up getting really nice Sterns and Foster at Mattress Firm with the no interest for one year financing.

I just bought two queen size beds (identical). I always buy king koil. I went last saturday just to browse and the lady sold me on the first bed she showed me. My son was going to get a futon and he lied down on the bed and decided to get the same one. I lied down on the bed and could have fallen asleep it was so soft. I left the paperwork at home so I will post tomorrow what king koil it is. FYI, we did lie down on other beds there but nothing compared to this bed.

We bought a King Size from the Original Mattress Factory last fall and it is wonderful!! :thumbsup2 I can't remember what it was called, but it is pillow top (on both sides) and the salesperson said it is their bestseller.

I've noticed my back is not hurting nearly as much as it was since we have been sleeping on this mattress. It's so comfy it is very difficult to drag myself out of it every morning!!

I'll have to look on the receipt when I get home tonight. I'll get back to ya!

My in-laws bought us a new Queen mattress set for a wedding gift in 2005 and I insisted on Stearns & Foster. I had a Twin S&F and just loved it (like sleeping on a firm cloud) and my grandparents had King one for 25 years and it was good as new. I sleep really well on it and DH's back is much better (mine went out earlier this year but it had nothing to do with the bed, in fact being in the bed was the only thing that felt good for my back!). We got it at Mattress Giant on a President's Day sale and it was around $1900 delivered.

The Mariner's Bed we slept in on our Holland America Line cruise last year was amazing. A Queen is around $1800 and if we hadn't already gotten ours and love it, we'd get the Mariner's Bed.
