Just today, we started on our Disney Themed Home Office. :upsidedow We started on our "photo wall." All of our favorite photos from our trips will be framed in simple black frames. 8 up on the wall so far, a zillion more to go. :rotfl: Our next project is our desk and I am looking for ideas!...
Actually, I guess it is more of a "workstation." We designed & built the workstation the entire length of one wall. We have fabric under a glass top and now want to change the fabric to a Disney theme, of course. We have not been able to find any fabric we like for an "adult office." Any suggestions?? Fabric? Stamped paper? **We are also going to put certain items under the glass, too, like the menus we have from our favorite Disney restaurants. :upsidedow

How about 12x12 scrap book paper. You could alternate the patterns or get all the same. Or you could get white, off white, what ever color fabric and cut a sponge out and sponge mickey heads on the fabric.

this is kind of cool

Thanks for the great ideas! I love both the scrapbook paper and the sponging ideas! :thumbsup2 I can "do" creative things-it is coming up with the ideas that I have a tough time with.

I hear ya! I have what I call fleeting moments of clarity. When I get them i run with it because they don't last long! LOL

What about a shadow box effect? Can you put a wooden spacer between the desk top and the glass so you could have bulkier things inside. Then no need for a background really just fill the heck out of it with stuff. It may give it some dimension.
