A quick question for those who have camped in a partial hookup site:

We will be staying in our old '90 Coleman Sequoia next month for 7 nights. Now that our kids are older, they want to stay in their own tents -- don't want to stay in the trailer with their parents anymore..

Are the sites on either/both partial hookup loops big enough for a medium sized popup plus three smaller tents?? And if so, can you suggest specific sites ??

Thanks again for all your help. Can't wait to get to the Fort!

Depends on the size of the tents I guess. The sand pads on the partial hook-up loops are larger than those of the full/preferred. The paved pad is not as long I think so you trade pavement for sand. You might have to jockey the picnic table around the site too and the car might be close to the road but you can probably make it work. I saw some pretty full sites this past week!:dance3:

Also, you can ask the CM to make a note on your reservation about a specific site but I think the chances of getting specific sites are slim during the busier times. Can't hurt to put it on, though. I have started asking for specific loops (any site in the loop is fine) and this past time I didn't get the loop I asked for but they did put me in an adjacent loop. Don't get too hung up about specific sites or throw a fit if you don't get the one you want. There's something good about every site!

Here are some photos from the 1500 loop. The 1500 loop had just been refurbished when taken in Feb. You will have plenty of room, just have request on reservations.Request the 1500 loop ( best partial hook up loop)

Here is what I would do. Park the popup in the driveway, put the tents on the sand pad and pull the vehicle up front.

If you do that you will have no problems with any of the sites in 1500 or 2000. If you want to keep your vehicle with you, I would recommend 2000. They have the largest pads of all and even have a little side jutout for the grill. Some of the sites in 1500 have the grill in a places where you lose some of your site. They also seem to have trees in bad places also.

Thank you for all of your help...

The pictures of 1500 loop are really nice - looks like the sites with a longer driveway will work the best.
Does anyone have any pictures of any sites in the other partial hookup loop??

Thanks again, and can't wait to get to FW next month..
