I'm going to once again trade my camper and get something more roomy. I started off with a 2004 Tailgator 21 footer. It was nice but it was kinda cramped (or so I thought) and heavy (7,000 lbs) which is a lot for 21'.

I bought a new Keystone Hobbi 220 last July and now with just DD 9 it is too small. Both of these are toy haulers and even though we still 4 wheel a lot it seems we go less because so many places are getting closed down around here.

My question is what do I get that I can grow into not grow out of ? I found the Cherokee 28 A Plus which is a dual slide tt that seems to have a lot of room. Now I'm even thinking fifth wheel. I have the tow vehicle that can pull it but what is out there reasonable? I'm single for the time being and need something affordable as well. Any suggestions will be welcomed.

Go ask your question on rv.net or irv2.com. Both forums have lots of folks that would be more than happy to share their experiences with particular RVs.

That Cougar looks like a great rv. Double the price of what I am looking at but nice lol. Right now it seems a lot of dealers are chomping to unload rv's so maybe I can get one for a decent price. The Cougar really offers a lot because I'm pretty sure it would fit 2 4 wheelers even though it shows one and you can use it like a regular camper when you want. There is a big RV show next weekend here in Jax so I'll see what the dealers are looking to get for one. Thanks for the link.

I went to my local dealer today and looked at the Cougar Hauler. I'd seen it before but didn't pay it much attention. Thanks for suggesting it because it looks like just what would cover the need. I have a 3/4 ton diesel Silverado so I'm covered on the tow vehicle. I would only need a fifth wheel put in. The reason I liked the Cougar so much is that when I'm not hauling 4 wheelers I can use that room as a bedroom because it has the bunks and it's great storage. This thing had a ton of storage underneath as well. My neighbor sells these things so now we're going to see what he can do price wise. The list was 35k but I'm hoping to get the usual 25% off deal and pay around 26k. Wish me luck.
