Please help. I signed up for a Cobaltcard today, so that I could use the Am.Ex. Bonus $ on priceline. I'm totally new to all this. I've been reading the "informed priceline bidding" site to learn little by little. My husband and I bid on a 3* just to see if we could find out how it works. Our bid was only $13, so of course, we were rejected. We couldn't find any reference to a bonus money link. Does anyone know where you find out on the priceline site, where to click that you want to add bonus money? We are totally in the dark! Can anyone shed some light on this for us? Thanks so much, Pomcoach

Here's a link to TravelSheryl's website. http://pub4.************/bpricelineandexpediabidding.html The bonus $ is listed way at the bottom under "Bonus Money Opportunities". Take a minute to read the Hotel FAQ before bidding - it may save you from a costly mistake.

I did find the category and I thank you very much! I have read & read the FAQ a lot, but I still will read each time before we bid, just to refresh my mind. We did our first bids ever, last night with the URL for Bonus Money. We were rejected all 3 times, but it was fun, and a learning experience. If I ever get accepted, I'll be soooo excited! Thank you so much for helping me!! pomcoach :D

REMEMBER, the AMEX bonus money expires 4/1/01---so you only have a short time left. Now that you have bid you will have to wait a week to rebid unless you understand the bidding strategies that are shared on the board. I would suggest doing some serious research and making an informed bid so you don't miss out on this opportunity. I have personally saved a bundle with Priceline and was able to make several trips to WDW this year staying at some great hotels.

I also saved a bundle. I got Wyndham Orlando for $30/night plus $20/night AMX bonus. I'm staying 2 weeks in July, so had to break up the time to maximize the AMX bonus ($100 max per stay). Got same hotel for entire stay in Orlando. I couldn't be happier. Time is definitely running out on the AMX bonus though. Maybe another bonus will begin.

Thank you so much for the info on the AMEX Bonus Money. I needed 1 night before my on-site reservation in Nov. I bid $3 for a 2 Star property. I got the Days Inn Maingate East (total cost: $3 + $.60tax + $5.95Priceline Fee = $9.55)
