It was kinda funny how it all came about but DFi is still taunting me for not being able to keep it a secret. Although I found out today from DM that he was asking her about the Poly when he was talking to her on the phone...asking her how she likes it and what it was like etc. See I knew he was nervous about it and would have freaked if I told him on the way there....I know the man well, I guess that is why I love him and am marrying him.

LOL we all know you can not keep anything about Disney a secret! We know Luvfigment will never pull off one of those "surprise the kids" trips to WDW like her DF and I did one year. Her DFi sounds OK with the switch. Guess knowing we have stayed there helped him. LOL poor guy is still a Disney newbie.

In all I believe the switch is the best move. Plus, now maybe I will not have to listen to her stressing about the construction anymore!! A trip to Disney should not include construction anytime but especially on your Disneymoon.

Congrats on the Poly! I have never stayed there but would if I could afford it. I am sure it will be very romantic. Hawaii is one of the number one honeymoon destinations and the Poly is modeled after that...so you will get that aspect of it, along with the WDW part too!

Welcome back from your Trip!!! Can't wait to hear about P&P Party. Anyhoo I am glad you got to see the picture this time around of the cake! Have I mentioned I am excited about it?? How about that I am excited about staying at the Poly??? As for DFi...:confused3 sometimes he just amkes me wonder and if warming up to the Poly...I bet he will like it better than AKL but we shall see.

So last weekend we figured out all the food for the wedding reception and sent out the invitations for the rehersal dinner. That is what else we got done last weekend bedsides the cake. I had also gone with DM to get the transfer paper to make the t-shirts but they didn't have the brand I heard about on the Dis so I need to investigate it more and maybe head to Wal-Mart.

While at Michael's I also got some ribbon that matches the bridesmaid dresses to tie around the favors. We are having fresh local apples that are dipped in caramel and chocolate from the local apple orchard as the favors. YUMMY!!! So that was another thing from the "To Do" list done.

Today we got my Dad fitted for his Tux and that was a nightmare!!! :scared1: I don't really want to talk about it I just ended up crying in the tux shop and we are most likely going to use a different branch of the tux place because of the customer service...I just hope that doesn't mess the order up. We shall leave it at that and everything is going to be ok...right??:confused:

A little off topic but if you are all inclined please keep DFi's family in your thoughts and prayers since a lot of them, including his grandfather still live in Jamaica and Hurricane Dean is heading right towards it. A Category 4 heading towards Jamaica is not a good mix. DFi was hoping his Grandfather would make it to the wedding but now we are not sure how that will work out. TIA.

Other than that not much else going on...tomorrow will mark 49 Days til the wedding and 50 days til the Disneymoon at the Polynesian!!!!:banana:

The caramel apples are VERY yummy especially since they are locally grown apples and there is a HUGE difference to the kind you buy in the store. They are sweet and REALLY crispy and juicy. My mouth is watering just thinking of them. YUMMY! Well we are working on the tux nightmare and it should be all settled this week. I am sure it is just the begining since I am a HUGE worry wort. Thank you for the thoughts on DFI family hopefully within the next few days DMIL will hear from the family that is down there.

So I forgot to mention to everyone that I am going to be an AUNTIE!!!!! I am sooooo excited! Now it is making DM (Webbie) very nervous b/c my DSis is my MOH and now needs a bigger dress! She is about 14 weeks now and is already showing so her dress which she bought 1 size too big is already too small. (My DSis is very petite and the opposite body type from me). So we went up another 2 dress sizes for her to fit into, rather have to take it in then let it out. So she will be about 5 1/2 months pregnant for the wedding, and hopefully the larger dress will fit...or DM is going to have a coronary!!!!

I was talking to DFi this morning on my way to work and he finally looked at the pictures I sent him of the Polynesian...and he really liked it!!!! YAY!!! He is very excited to stay there and loves the fact that there will be a flat screen TV for him to watch the Baseball playoffs on. So that is a big sigh of relief and makes me even more excited!!!

I also payed the balance for the Disneymoon last night!!!! It was due by Friday and I wanted to do it today before I spaced out and forgot! So now my trip is all payed for and mostly all planned for. YIPPIE!!!!!

Over the next couple of days I will take a picture of my countdown calendar so y'all can see how I am marking off the days!!! I am having a lot of fun doing that! Well hope everyone has a great week!

This week was crazy and I hardly had time to Dis. :sad2: So sad...but I did get some shopping for the Disneymoon done. Just bought some small things like the Under Water Camera (for our day at Typhoon Lagoon), Purrell, more sun tan lotion before it all disappears up here, and travel size shaving lotion.

I also got the call on Friday that my sisters new dress came in so I had to go down on Sat and exchange the dresses and when I came home my other bridesmaids dress arrived from Germany!!! SO that is good news now we just have to ship DSis dress down to her so she can see how well it fits. The dress drama is almost over. I also have my next fitting for my gown on Tues!

Then yesterday DFi wanted me to call and see if I could price out the GF with the code and see if we could get a good rate. On a side note I don't really want to switch from the Poly to the GF...isn't that wierd? It has always been my dream to stay there but I just think the Poly is more romantic and laid back than the GF. So I called today and there weren't any rooms available with the code but the nice lady told me that I could keep calling to try...so we shall see if I will do that.

I also called about the GF Photo Session and DFi are totally going to do that!!! I am excited about that also (what am I not excited about lol) and will have to call back in Sept to book it b/c they are only booking 1 month in advance. Then I also have to pre-order my Photo Pass CD so I can get that great deal with the Photo Session. Well that is all the updates for now...I have to go find a first dance song now. Talk to you all real soon!

Yeah DFi is obsessed with the GF for some reason and that is so sweet of you DFi to want to stay their b/c it looks like the hotel his parents were at. You are going to LOVE AKL though, it is such a nice resort!!!

Oh no now you have possible dress drama!!! Did it all turn out ok??? The photo session isn't too fancy it is one that you get with the Photo pass so it isn't the really nice expensive private session. You just call or go to the PhotoPass place at GF to set up a session and if you buy the Photopass CD it is essentially free and you get all the pictures. If you want to know more about it PM me.

Last night I went for another fitting for my bridal gown and it looks great!!! She is taking it in a little on the side (she forgot to do it for this fitting) and did the bustle and it looks so beautiful!!!!! I was shocked at how much easier it was to walk in once it is bustled. LOL Anyhoo my DM took 2 pictures of me in my gown but I can't post them on here just in case DFi comes and read. Plus my hair looks horrible I had a long day at work prior to the fitting and it needs to be cut but I can't b/c it needs to be as long as possible for the wedding. Oh yeah I go back for another fitting on 9/20, I just have to make sure I don't gain any weight!!!

This weekend I am going out of town to see my friends in Maryland where I had lived for the past 5 years so I won't be around at all til Tues or so. But this weekend there is a HUGE milestone in the countdown!!! On Sunday it will be 30 Days until I see DFi :banana: :banana: How exciting is that??? Trust me it is very exciting. :cloud9:

So I am back on the DIS part time...a lot has been accomplished in the past 2 days for the wedding and will update it all in the next few days...it will definitly be done this weekend! Two big things happened though that I do want to share!!! Last week before I left for Maryland I got my ME packets with my luggage tags!!!! Who knew you could get so exctied about some yellow paper tags for you luggage. :confused3 Then yesterday I came home from work and my all my final documents had arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY for me!!! I am going to Disney and oh yeah and I am getting married too :laughing:

I tried to upload them to photobucket but for some reason they do not appear.:mad: They are a picture of MM and MM in their wedding attire with Just Married over a heart. Off to the side is a space where I printed the table numbers. I am putting them in plastic frames. They really came out cute.

Kerri is busy at work and I am swamped with details of the wedding. I just ordered the favors yesterday. We live in apple country so we are having chocolate/caramel covered apples. The ribbon ties matches the girl's dress color. My other daughter volunteered to tie all the ribbons on the apples the day before the wedding.

Music selections were e-mailed out this morning.

So, Kerri should be back on this weekend. She will fill you in on the rest of the plans.

I love that idea!!!! I don't think it will work out for us though because the cocktail hour will be in the reception room (right next door from the ceremony) and we are going to have a Steel Drum band playing the music during that time...then the DJ will start when we get introduced. Hi everyone!!!! Look at my countdown ticker….30 Days until my Disneymoon! Yippie!! Actually as I write this 1 month from now we will be eating our dinner at Boma! Things are coming together so well and I am getting so excited for the trip and wedding. As I had mentioned earlier this week I got a lot accomplished this past week. BTW my trip to Maryland was fabulous but it was weird being there and not going home to DFi…I drove by our old apartments though and it wasn’t the same…sniff sniff it was our first place together.

Anyhoo on with the plans! Tuesday I finally picked my readings for the wedding…I had such a hard time with this just because I got bored with everything I was reading. I finally found 2 readings that are nice, to the point, and not the whole “Love is patient, Love is kind etc” (I really like that reading but EVERYONE does it and I want something different) Then that night DM and I went to the venue for the wedding and set up the ceremony and food and that went awesome. Then the lady who set all of that up is also performing the ceremony for the wedding so we talked about that also. I am really excited about the ceremony and all of the personal touches she does for her ceremonies. We spent a lot more time there than expected…2 ½ hours!!! I walked away thinking, wow I am REALLY getting married in 1 month! Ohhhh not to mention that DFi and I are doing a Sweetheard Table and not head table and we will be in places in a little out cove of windows with the cake kinda behind/next to us! It is perfect and kind hard to explain but you will understand when you see the pics!

I also have picked out our first dance song…finally! We picked Amazed by Lonestar…nothing like a nice Yankee girl and a Jamaican dancing to some country music! LOL I just love the words to the song. I also picked out our going away song and that will be From This Moment by Shania Twain. When we do our last dance we are going to do the whole everyone makes a circle around us and watches us dance.

We also starting working on the table arrangement for the wedding and are getting a little worried with our total number since it is a little higher than we expected…it’s at 151!!! We were thinking only about 120-130 people would come but the responses keep coming back as YES! It is good though and I am excited that so many people want to spend our special day with us. On the table arrangement aspect DM worked hard on making the table numbers and I think they are too cute. See...for some reason there is a lime green line inside where the number is but it did not print that way...must be the Dis influence.

As for Disneymoon news I booked the GF photo session today for Oct 11th at 12:00. This is the same day that we are going to MNSSHP and are not planning on going into a park per say since we will be sleeping in and taking out the water mice and going in to a park only for MNSSHP. Tomorrow I have to pre-order the Photopass CD so we can save the $20 and get all the add ons. Woo hoo for savings!

For this week I have to finalize what I am going to do between baskets/surprises/Cinderella slipper for our trip and then set all of that up. I am also doing the run through for my hair on Thursday night. Then the following week I am meeting with the photographer and doing my final fitting for my dress!!! Then yesterday DFi wanted me to call and see if I could price out the GF with the code and see if we could get a good rate. On a side note I don't really want to switch from the Poly to the GF...isn't that wierd? It has always been my dream to stay there but I just think the Poly is more romantic and laid back than the GF. So I called today and there weren't any rooms available with the code but the nice lady told me that I could keep calling to try...so we shall see if I will do that.

I also called about the GF Photo Session and DFi are totally going to do that!!! I am excited about that also (what am I not excited about lol) and will have to call back in Sept to book it b/c they are only booking 1 month in advance. Then I also have to pre-order my Photo Pass CD so I can get that great deal with the Photo Session. Well that is all the updates for now...I have to go find a first dance song now. This past week I had the run through for my hair and it went so well!!! I am really exctied about it but sadly like the dress I don't want to post pictures just in case DFi stops by and reads the board. If you want to see pictures though feel free to PM and I will send you the pictures!

This week I am meeting with the photographer on Tuesday and go for my final gown fitting on Thursday. Then on Saturday I am having my Bachelorette party, although I have no clue what we are doing except dinner on Federal Hill. (They are keeping it a secret from me and dinner on Federal Hill will be really nice...it is the Italian section of Providence, RI and has really yummy Italian food.)

Sadly one of our groomsmen will no longer be able to join us because he has decided to serve our country in the Army and has to report to Basic Training on Sept 29th!

I am also working on ideas for a special surprise for the room and hope to work on that more this week. So I will hopefully be able to update y'all on that also this coming week. Other than that everything for the Disneymoon is pretty much all set. We actually have started to get some wedding gifts also! Hee hee that is always fun and I just wish I could use some of it.

****Tonight I went for another fitting for my dress and it went really good! They had to take it in on the sides a little bit so it the dress doesn't fall down and it is not going ANYWHERE!!! It is great I can dance without and problems. I have another fitting on Oct 2 and then I will pick up the dress the day before the wedding which works out well so DFi won't get a chance to see it before the big day!!!

I also have been working with Lindsey, my Dream Maker, to make my basket for the Disneymoon and I think we have it all figured out and have to decide for sure by next Wednesday! I am getting excited and trying to figure out how much I actually want to spend. She has been wonderful to work with and has put up with my 50 million questions! Thanks again Lindsey!!!!

This weekend I have a facial on Saturday and also my bachelorette party so I probably won't be around til Sunday night to update about that and maybe I will add some pictures! I also have to figure out when the heck I am going to make the t-shirts for the trip. I am thinking on Sat between the facial and night out on the town I will try to buy the shirts and the transfer paper and then one night next week attempt to make them with DM. Sorry I have been MIA for a little bit but things are getting really busy! This week I bought a "treasure chest" type thing for my cards at the wedding and then DM was great enough to paint it for me and decorate it also.

I also bought the transfer paper to make the t-shirts with along with buying the actual t-shirts today! So I will be attempting to make the shirts tomorrow...wish me luck and I will come back with pictures! I also have been picking up a few things for the Disneymoon including and extra memory card for my camera and a mini Tri-pod so I can take some night pictures!

This week will be very busy!!! I have to finish cleaning my room tomorrow so DFi has a place to put his suitcases. I am working Monday and Tuesday...both are going to be wicked busy days. Tuesday night I get to go pick up my veils and tiara from getting the attachments done. Right after that I get to go to the airport to pick up DFi!!!!!! :banana: :banana: YIPPIE!!!!! Figs mom here, I would like to take a minute to thank all the trippies who have been following all the plans and frustrations. Hey y'all!!! I am sorry that I have not been around things have been soooooo busy!!!!! I have read everyones very kind words and post but sadly I am very pressed for time and can't write back indiviually...I am sorry. :guilty:

DFi got in safe and sound Tuesday night! It was great seeing him and when we were in the airport I thought I was dreaming...I couldn't believe he was standing right in front of me. Things have been great since he has been home.

We have the marriage liscence in hand actually the lady performing the ceremony now has it so we don't even have to think about it anymore. We have tuxes...just got back from picking them up. My DSis and DBIL came in today and in about 1 hr I have to leave to pick up my friend that is stationed in Germany that is in our wedding. See that I have people coming from all over the world!!! LOL

Tomorrow is another full day....I have to go for a final dress fitting tomorrow since when I went on Tues they had to take the dress in more b/c I lost more weight...opps I guess I have been a little nervous/excitied. Then I have to get my nails done and then get my ring fixed! :scared1: Yikes I said gt my ring fixed! When they engraved my band since the metal is white gold they buffed it too much and it now has a very yellow ting to it. I was not very happy since all it has done is sit in a box. Then I went to get my engagement ring cleaned and one of my stones was EXTREMELY lose and they couldn't believe I had lost the stone yet...luckily it is one of the side stones not the main one and they are all insured so they would be replaced if they did get lost. Anyhoo now I have to bring it tomorrow to get fixed.

As for the t-shirts I am so excited about them and love :love: them. DFi actually liked his MNSSHP one and the EPCOT and said he would wear one!!! :banana: So now if I can find 15 minutes I am going to make him a matching EPCOT shirt!

Thank you everyone for reading along I have really enjoyed sharing with you all my plans for the wedding and Disneymoon. As my DM has stated it has really helped me plan everything without DFi being right here with me...so THANK YOU!!!

Ok well I need to go and do a few more things before I have to go to the airport again! Thank you all for reading and I am hoping to come on Saturday night to help calm me down! Have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon. I got married last year and I will pass along the two pieces of advice that served me well. First, it's your day (and the days leading up to it) so if you don't like how something is going speak up! You are given a lot of leeway as a Bride so use it! :bride: You don't want any regrets. The other piece of advice is to not worry about your dress getting dirty/stepped on, etc. It will happen so don't bother to worry about it. My husband of less then 2 hours stepped on my dress and busted the $250 bustle I had done and one inch of the hem was black with dirt by the end of the night.

Fig and DH...hehe DH....are happily honeymooning in Disney right now. They got the longhouse at the Poly that she wanted. Everyone is being wonderful to them. DH is even wearing his tophat!! Of course Figment wore her's to the airport. LOL.

They are having a blast. She reported that they are still on one piece after the segway tour. LOL.

Hey Y'all!!!! Well DH (doesn't that sound great? :teeth:)and I had a great time at the wedding and the Disneymoon! I will be starting my Trippie this week sometime. I am just trying to finish getting caught up since last week DH and I were getting caught up being back home and I had to work 2 of the days. Yesterday DH left for England and finally got home at 8 am this morning...it was really sad saying good-bye but we shall be together soon.

Sooooo I will be writing my TR to help me stay occupied. Please bear with me as I upload all the pictures from the wedding and the Disneymoon so I can post them in the TR. I took notes every night we got back to the room during the Disneymoon...DH was amused but did not make fun of me too much. Well I am off the start typing and to start catching up with everyone else. Ok I am so sorry I haven't started to Trippie yet but it is coming soon. Things have been crazy at work and I have been sad at night without DH. I ordered my Photopass CD and it should be here on Monday so I can start the Trippie this coming week with those pictures.

I also have to start of college basketball season just starting so I will be going to games since I bought Season Tickets to URI to keep myself busy.
