Cash ressie question

I booked for next Feb at SSR and did a couple of nights on cash. They explained the whole thing about the rate may change in 2008, yadda yadda, which I knew. MS told me the discount was available for my nights though.

Well, my confirmation came. The dates are in the DVC resort value season (before 2/14), which this year, the rate for a 2BR with the discount was 386.00+tax (I know this because I booked and paid for one in Feb). Well, for almost the same dates, my confirmation says Daily Rate; $637.50 without tax!! :scared1:

I checked to make sure it was for a 2 BR, and it is. So....anyone have any insight as to what the heck happened there? :)

I definitely will be on the phone tomorrow.

MS is using the holiday rate - 25%. Call them tomorrow & have them straighten it out.

I don't think the cash rates are out for next year. They may just book it at the highest 2007 rate pending release of the actual rates.

Ahh okay, using the highest 07 rate would make sense. I will call tomorrow just to be sure, and then when the 2008 rates come out, I will call again to be sure it gets adjusted. Thanks! I was a little taken aback, though! :)
