My family and I are staying at the Grand Californian hotel when we go to DL this summer. Have any of you dined at the Napa Rose restaurant? Other than being pricey, what can you tell me about it? Is the food good? How about the portion sizes? Service good? Thanks!! :goodvibes

We were there for our anniversary a few years ago. It's an upscale restaurant with moderately expensive prices. The food and service are very good, but it's not really a family place--more of a special occasion place. Maybe something you'd do for a family splurge.

As far as portions, they weren't huge--they were artistically presented. BUT they were enough. I was very full after the meal! Everything we ate was wonderful.

Here's the Santa Maria tri-tip:

The Storyteller's Cafe in the GCH is more of a family place.
