Ok im not sure how many people will be up for this but..... for those of us (me included) who havent met anyone in the flesh from Dis, why dont we post our photos? Its nice to put a face to a name.

I will put mine up once ive worked out how too!! As ive only just had a new computer and a digital camera but im sure that someone else will go first. Who do you think would be first?????? could it be the photo king himself Dan? Lets wait and see.

No Preshi, we weren't there at the same time, but close. We arrived 9/16, the day after the storm. We missed it completely. But, it was very eerie. We didn't use a fastpass until the day we left, 9/28, nearly three weeks after the attack. And we only used it then because the kiosks were open, but we really didn't need them.

Hi, I have been lurking as an unregistered guest for quite a while. I've watched this thread grow and now feel even more attached to the DIS.

Without knowing it, you all have helped me over the last fews years in many aspects of my life. Not to mention benefiting from the unbelieveable wealth of Disney knowledge.

Without exception, I have found that the people here, especially on the CB are so nice, I thought I'd "edge" closer into "the fold".

I've never met any of you, but in someways I feel I know many of you. I really love the light heartedness and comfort that you all seem to offer of yourselves so freely. Thank you for being you!

I registered at the imagestation a lot of you guys were talking about a while back and I went to tech board for help and I AM able to post a LINK to the picture but I want to post the picture directly into the thread without a link. I am doing the address thing but it just turns it into a link. How do I get the actual picture into the thread?

Thanks for any and all help. But right now I'm going to bed. Hope the answer will be here next time I check in.

Edited addendum: - Look at that, I got a red x! What I typed was: "img" in brackets and then the word "address" and then "/img" in brackets and I got a red x! So how come when I type in the real address in between I don't get a picture but a link?

Okay!! Thanks to many, I can post my face and those of my loved ones.

The first is our arrival 9/22/01 onboard the Disney Magic after a long flight with unexpected layover. We were tired and exhausted but looking forward to our CRUISETOBERFEST vacation with the many DIS friends we met via the Cruise Board.
