Last day for West Roads store in Omaha is 01/01/02. :(
Sad to see it go. That leaves two stores in NE!:(
I was there after work. The store is half cleared out already! They started at the back and are moving forward.:(
Who else is having a local store closing?

The store in Duluth Mn where I worked for 2 years will close tonight for good. I went in tonight after work to see the place one last time and it was pretty depressing. There is a crew coming in already tomorrow to take the figures down from around the store to get ready to auction them off on ebay. The rest of the store fixtures will be removed by another crew on friday afternoon when the castmembers are to be finished packing up the rest of the merchandise to transfer to other stores.

With all the upcoming store closings, there should be a BIG supply of store displays on Ebay!:(

The very first store in BAltimore at the Inner Harbor closed this summer. The Towson store, the store that I started working at, is closing the first of the year and then I heard that another store in our area is closing, Owings Mills. This is after losing a couple stores already in Maryland.

The store closes to my home is still selling like hot cakes - I hope nothing happens to it. I would be a wreck if it closes. I always go there when I need a little Disney.

There are 2 other stores in MN closing. Aside from Duluth, also the St.Cloud store and the Southdale store (southern Twin Cities area) are closing. This leaves my store in Roseville, the Mall of America and Ridgedale, a store on the western end of the metro. I feel bad for the outstate people not having a store to go to. The manager at my store said that Disney is downsizing and when leases come up for renewal, often they are not renewing them and just closing. Very sad.

At least Disney is not doing what AOL did to the Warner Bro stores -- close them all. :(

Add Granite Run Mall in the Western Philly suburbs to this list. Their last day is somewhere around 1/6.

Yes, Granite Run will be closing soon, along with Dover in January. I heard about the Towson store yesterday.

Just because a store's lease may be ending doesn't mean the store will be closing.

I also heard of two stores in wisconsin that are closing also. Racine and Eau Claire are closing within the next month or two. At one time the number I heard was 120 total. Has anyone else heard?

Fanueil Hall Ds in Boston is closed as of today
the managment Co is trying to get rid of alot of the "brand name" stores.

This store was supposed to be closing anyway once its lease was up!!!!!!!!! because of what I had posted above.

My DD said the store at Woodfield Mall in Chicago is closing soon. She didn't have a date. Also, the Kenwood Towne Center store in Cincinnati is closing Jan 1st. Our airport store already closed in Sept. That leaves three in our area still open. Have heard rumors that one or more of these may close when their lease is up.
