Club 33

Hi folks! I'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but we're hoping to take my father-in-law to Club 33 in November for his 60th birthday. I've been watching ebay for the chance at a reservation for a few months now to no avail, so I'm posting here.

If there are any Club 33 members on this board who might be willing to make a dinner reservation for a party of 7 later this year in order to make our pop's birthday, please PM me. It would be most appreciated and I'm more than happy to answer any questions about our group and pay any fees involved!

Club 33 members are no longer allowed to auction off reservations on ebay. They can only donate reservations to live charity type auctions. You will probably have the best luck asking people you know. Most members will not risk getting a reservation for someone they do not know. If something happens, such as a no show, it looks bad on the member, so most wont risk it.

We live in the Northeast, so there's not much chance we know anyone with a membership. Many friends and family know what we're trying to plan -- and most don't have a clue what Club 33 is, much less have a membership.

I understand why members would be concerned about no-shows and such. We're planning a special trip to Disneyland for this event and I'd be able to confirm airline and hotel reservations with the member to try to ease this concern. We just want to make his birthday special!
