My good friends (I'll call them Fen and Larah) are getting married next month and staying somewhere off property near WDW. If they should happen to leave their room they are wondering where to go for food and entertainment in the area besides WDW. They are 22 or so. Can you all provide any suggestions for them? Thanks!

Sounds like they are tailor-made for a night out at either Pleasure Island (the nighclubs of Downtown Disney) or Universal's CityWalk (a similar clubby entertainment district). They will probably enjoy the BET Soundstage Club, Rock 'n Roll Beach Club, Mannequins and 8Trax at PI, while Universal's best 'young' offerings are the groove (a high-energy disco), Margaritaville and Bob Marley's. Downtown has some good clubs too, notably Zuma Beach, Barbarella and The Club at Firestone. There's PLENTY to do (if they ever leave their room ;) ).

Since your friends are under 25 car rentals will not be cheap. They might want to stay either on Disney property so they can use Disney transportation or stay at Portofino or Hard Rock by Universal (can walk to take to boat to Citywalk).

I'm bumping this up again. I found out they're staying at a Radisson near WDW.
