adding on ...VB or resale at OKW???

We are planning to add on 50-75 to our (OKW-300), we are contemplating between VB or a resale at OKW, we love OKW. We haven't been to VB yet(going in June) I would like to have some input from other VB owners. We are very flexible with our vacations, and usually make plans at the 11 or 7 month windows.
Our children are 27 and 16, so for now the parks at WDW are not that important to our decision.We were wondering if it would be to our advantage to have the 11 month window at VB. My wife is a school teacher and we will both be retired in 6 yrs (at age 51:D ) so we are wondering what would be more to our advantage, VB or OKW add-on?

I own at OKW and have visited VB. One consideration is that you can buy VB directly from DVC and get exactly what you want. Finding that few points that match your use year and are a reasonable price AFTER CLOSING COSTS, may well be difficult. Even at $55 per point, The closing costs and tranfer fees will add another $7.50-10 per point on a resale assuming 50-75 points. If you want OKW, you could always work on a resale for a month or 2 keeping in touch with your guide so you don't get shut out of VB if other options don't work out.

We love to split up trips between OKW and Vero - I vote for Vero points.
