Alas, I work as a school secretary and only have off school Holidays. Anyone here been to Disney at Christmas? I'm getting pretty depressed, it has been 15 years since I have been there and it seems to me prices are through the roof. I may be bringing my 18 year old nefew, who is handicapped (brain tumors..and now suffers seizures) I've been trying to get him to Disney since he first got sick at 4, and we still have not gotten there...any hints, tips, opinions....welcome....Have decided to rent off site, condo or house...there is so much to think about..car,food,parking, I don't think he'll be able to keep up the pace so I will also need something for him to get around in...tired easily ever since chemo.......geese I'm about to give up...:scared:

Don't give up Carol! We too will be there for our 1st trip at Xmastime. For answers to your other questions try the disabilities board. They are a nice, helpful group of people. What a sweet aunt you are! We also have a disabled child-autistic and there is no other place in the world where he is happier! Good luck and God bless! Angel

Thanks...I'm not....The school for which I work has an autistic population....I just wish my family was not so dysfunctional. I just put deposit on a three bedroom townhouse at Terre Verde. I figured it would give them time (my brother and sister in law) to get used to the idea...and put some money aside as well...We have all never fully recovered from Bryan being ill...I'm sure you understand....:.I figured we can always rent one of those things you ride around in...I'll get him there one way or another.......I'm sure it will all work out in the end....enjoy your trip....seems like years away doesn't it? :hourglass
