Athletes are paid what they are worth. I'd love to see you get out there and play football, soccer, swim, etc with these people. They're over paid because they can do what the rest of us can't and we love to watch it. Just like most of us can't act, can't sing, etc. You can't run a multi-million dollar company either, just like the CEO's can.

Its a rule, if you can do something that not everyone else can do, you'll be in demand. Athletes are in demand. Actors are in demand. Singers are in demand. Musicians are in demand.

Hence, they're paid well.

ok i know that the comment said about liking the athletes for looks was direct towards me most likely:confused3 but thats not the only reason i love Crosby i like him because he is an awesome hockey player and yes i admit he is absolutely gorgeous but there are plenty of other reason i like him.... first of all he seems pretty down to earth and has incredible talent and he was glad to come to Pittsburgh (my hometown):woohoo: when he first got drafted to the Pens and he loves it here so yea i do not just like him for his looks i love hockey and watch it every chance i get... but Crosby is deffinately my favorite athlete...:cheer2:
