Should I bother trying to rent points week before Christmas?

Hi,
Before I even bother posting on the rental board, I am getting the feeling that most DVC's are already rented. We want a studio at BCV or BWV, we've rented form DVCers twice now (but in August) and have had a great experience. We've never been at Christmas time before and thought, hey, let's rent again, so, what do you think, give it a shot, or be laughed off the board?:laughing: :)

There's only one way to tell -- give it a shot. I'd put a thread on the R/T board and see what happens. It's a long shot, as you know, but people do have cancellations.

If you're talking about week of Dec. 17, you probably stand a good chance of a getting a rental. That's too close to Christmas to travel for a lot of folks but not into the actual Christmas vacation time period.

Really, great, yes, we want to arrive on the 18th and be gone by the 23rd or the 24th.
