Wyndham Palms?

Anybody have any information about the condos? Anything, good or bad, about Wyndham Palms? Thanks for any help.

stayed in a 3 bedroom condo in Feb. Loved it
Wyndham is a brand new beautiful resort. Planning
to return there in the fall. We stayed in the
sapphire unit. on the first floor. No elevators. :)

Just saw trd57's helpful comments on her visit to Wyndham Palms. Our family is looking at staying there in March 2002 and I was wondering if trd57 could provide info on proximity to DisneyWorld (driving time) and maybe a bit more info on Wyndham Palms - resort facilities, etc.? Thanks!

The resort is 3 1/2 miles to WDW--very short
distance. It is off of 192. It is a gated
community with 2 and 3 bedroom condos and homes
for rent. We stayed in a large 3 bedroom unit.
That was very close to the clubhouse. There
is a beautiful pool,weight room, tennis and
basketball courts (they will give you the
equipment--no charge) Have you visited
www.villadirect.com (http://www.villadirect.com)? They handle the bookings
for some of the condos. Any further questions
just ask. I'm happy to help. We went in Feb.
I think we were one of the first families to
rent there. They had just opened.

Just read some of your comments. I have never stayed at this development but you should be aware that it is very close to a sewerage plant and also the new highway that will be built.

Are you sure about your info tigger? Stayed there
in Feb. and it is in a residential neighborhood,
never saw a sewage treatment plant or smelled one.
As for the highway-Orland/kissimmee area is
constantly improving their highways. That area of
192 is due to be completed in the Fall, per
contract agreement.
