Did anyone do the SR Gift Reminder service from the email earlier this week? Just wondering if anyone got the $0.05 credit for it? I signed up, but didn't get the credit? :confused3
I got it instantly after doing it.

Those were set with a cookie so that you should have gotten credit automatically. I think I've seen about 400 of them credit so far, but I did have about 3 or 4 people that it did not work for. I'm a little bit worried about why it didn't--not because I care about the 0.05--but rather because it means that they cookie did not work properly on your computer. Just drop me an email and I'll get it credited for you.
For anyone else that did use it, what did you think of it?
Interesting. I did a couple reminders myself but didn't get credit. I wondered if it was because of location (Canada).

Thanks Tricia! Weird...yeah, it's not like I'm hurting for the $0.05, but I just thought it was kinda odd that the email said it would be credited immediately...I just went through SR & sent an email!

It didn't credit for me either and I sent an email the same day regarding the credit (but I'll send another :) )

It just hit me when I was reading the other thread that the daylight savings patch might be the culprit on this as well. We have it set up that the cookie is only one hour. If your computer is not patched for daylight savings time and you do the gift reminder, it might show up that you did the offer more than an hour after you clicked on the link. I will still credit you manually if I have to, but that might explain why just a handful of you did not get credit automatically.

I think it's great. Especially for those people I need to mail gifts for. Now I can be reminded well ahead of the day and make sure it gets there in time.

I did it when it was promo'ed to the supermembers, but it didn't work for me for whatever reason. I didn't get my reminder, and no credit. I will have to re-try it. :confused3

It did not work for me at first but I figured out my problem. You have to click directly on the "Save" part of the submit area. If you click anywhere else it will not register. After I clicked on the Save, I got a screen that told me my info had been recorded.
