Hardest to find DS state pins

Magicmick over on Dizpins asked this same question and I was thinking the same thing the other day, so I thought I'd ask it here ---

Which of the 100 Years Disney Store state pins are the hardest to find?

Alaska, New Mexico, and Idaho are probably the top three. I don't recall seeing any of these offered for trades. If eBay is any indicator, there have been NO Alaska pins listed ("Alaska pin" pulls up IASW pins), one NM went for $104 and another is at $72, and Idaho is easily selling for $25.00 buy it nows.

And another question: What would you consider an even trade for one of these three pins?

They are obviously (if unofficially) limited editions. Another state pin wouldn't be fair, unless it's Alaska for New Mexico. Probably a low LE park pin or something equally rare. Jail Scene or Mickey for Prez for Alaska??

Also, do we know how many of each state were made
and exactly which states were made? We are not sure.

I had a trade request today for Hawaii. The person wanted an LE 100 pin in exchange. While I would like to get the entire state series it is not that high on my priority list. Now if they had Villains on them........

Same here -- All the states would be nice -- But not THAT nice.:rolleyes:
Getting the Canada pins are hard enough. I have had people want 2, 3 & 4 other state pins (IA, NE, SD, +) for one Canada. I don't care if I have them that bad.

I mentioned Arkansas and Montana on the DIZpins list. I called the New Mexico DS on Saturday,12/15 at 7:30pm there time. I was told the 2 stores were out of state pins at 9am!
I bought one of the NM proofs from Disney auctions for $25. I figured it was cheaper than finding the pin!
