Me, me, me!!! Just found out two days ago that my good friend's daughter was accepted into the Disney College program and she has to be there by the 21st of January so I offered to drive down with the two of them and get her settled. Since my friend has never been to WDW, of course, I offered to show her around and take her to a couple parks! Love a quickie trip!! All Stars, here we come! Never stayed there before, but this has to be on the cheap side, as we haven't been saving up in advance. Don't care, as I'm going to WDW!!!

WE LEAVE TOMORROW-ON CHRISTMAS, YEA!!!! AND WHAT AM I DOING ON HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!CAN HARDLY WAIT, WE WILL BE STAYING AT WL, HRH AND DOLPHIN, THOUGHT THE KIDS MIGHT MIND NOT HAVING AS MANY GIFTS NOT A CHANCE THEY DON'T CARE IF THEY HAVE ANY GIFTS AS THEY WILL BE AT DISNEY AND THEY ARE 17 AND 20 AND HAVE BEEN TO DISNEY A MILLION TIMES BUT THE MAGIC IS ALWAYS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going on Jan 22. It will be mostly a solo trip. I'm really excited about it and looking forward to my alone time at Disney. There is so much I've never done even though this will be my 16th trip in 25 years.

We're leaving the 18th of January at 3 am (yikes!) but I can barely wait!!! Preparations? I've been confirming our towncar services to and from the airports, and I am just starting to consider what to bring... I hope the weather is nice enough to swim... we need an escape from the chill of Ohio.

I will be leaving the 5th oof Jan driving down from NY, stopping for a night at friends in NC on the way down and back. Will be at the magical world 7th-11th.

HURRAH! HURRAH!! We are leaving Jan. 16 too!! Yes, I started "gathering" yesterday and organizing my notes/schedules. I am off work until Jan. 2. Gotta do it while I can. Once I go back--it's full speed ahead until we leave. Can't wait!!!!!!!! :D :p :p :D

This is going to be our 10th anniversary trip, and I want to make it special for my hubby too.
Are ya'll staying on property? If so, what resort?

Just have fun, and tell the resort CM's when you check in that it is your 5th anniversary and maybe they will help you. That is what we are doing. I am gonna fax the resort and ask them if they can help me make it special.

If not staying at a resort, then you can still make it special. Just take your time, and take lots of pictures to remember your 5th! :)

I leave tomorrow for IOA and UF. I am meeting up with Barry on Sunday. Is there a place that you would like to meet up at on that date. I know that we (Barry and I) are meeting up at 8:30 at the entrance of the park. I think we will meet up with MIB999999 at Mythos at 12.

We are going during President's Day week. This will be our 4th visit. I start reading the weather forcasts several weeks before leaving but, hey! Weathermen have been known to have their picnics rained out. I usually call a branch of the company I work for in Orlando a few days before we leave and ask what it looks like out of the window. The locals know what the trends are and the old "looking out the window" trick works.

Since our 17yr old daughter has a friend come along, we have been staying at the Villas at the Disney Institute. We have stayed at the Polynesian before.

Am I excited about going? HA! Better believe it!!!! The countdown is ON.

We're leaving Jan. 11th also!! Staying at the POR? I think. LOL I've been putting off arranging gift bags to be sent to the room from WDW florist, in case we get 'the call'. I think with 2 weeks away I will just go ahead and book it!

We're leaving Jan.10 on an obscenely early flight. Just hope we have enough energy for the extra day of touring I thought we'd get by arriving early. I'm so excited but I keep having terrible nightmares about getting their and realizing I forgot to bring everything with me including my passes!!!!!

We are staying at the lake cecile resort, i thought since it was by the lake it might be romantic to take walks there by the lake shore ( corny, huh?).

6 days;8 hours until we leave for AKL we have a 610 am flight - but that means we get the full day there!!!! I feel I have so much to do before I go. I have to get thru all of my reading for classes so I don't have too much to do when I get home(yes my prof assigned us 500 pages of reading for my first week back.)

Yes!! January 19-26. We cannot wait. Now that Christmas is over we can concentrate on the trip. We're hoping for good driving weather from Maryland to Florida (no snow pa-leeeese!!).

Hey, we're arriving on the 12th of January too! Our first trip as DVC members. All the family going, so looking forward to staying OKW GV. We leave Baton Rouge on the 11th, staying in Live Oak and arrive at DW on the 12th. I've started collecting a few groceries that we will take along like Tobasco, Grits. . . .things I don't know if we can get in Fl.:)

No poohangel, not corny at all! that sounds wonderful!!!!!! I think that will be a great way to be romantic for your anniversary! And when you go to the MK..make sure and stay for the fireworks....that will end a beautiful day for you and your groom! :)

37 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I've already started packing!!!!!! all those "little things" I've been living on these boards for the last month! (at least 3-4 hours a day!!!!) THANKS TO EVERYONE ON THE BOARDS FOR HELPING ME PLAN OUR TRIP. LOTS OF GREAT THREADS!! this is our FIRST trip to Disney. Staying at All Sports 9 days and 8 nights! :-) Rooms are booked and flights are now booked. Question for you veterans. Our flights have made me reconsider our intial choice for tickets. We won't be getting in until 11:30p.m. SAT 9th and will be leaving 6:00 a.m. SUNDAY 17th. Since it's Feb we will just use the pool and not the water parks. Day of arrival and day of departure we won't be going to parks because of the time. We were going to get the Ultimate Park Hopper but this seems unnecessary now. Park Hopper Plus be the way to go now? Able to go back and forth between parks on these right?

15 days and counting for our family. I think I'm just about to go nuts thinking about it. I started packing last night!! Especially with 4 inches of snow on the ground and gray skies here, Disney dreaming is taking over my entire existence.

My brother in law and his family are leaving for Disney tonight after work. Please say a prayer for their safe journey south, since they are traveling through an area that received a lot of snow and ice.

I'd get the Ultimate if you plan on going to Disney Quest, water parks, or anything other than the Big 4 parks. It's only a little more, and it's the ultimate in flexibility.

Just called CRO yesterday on a whim and got ressies at WL for 1/16-20/02
Basically asked if there were any specials. Got a great air rate with SWA.
After reading the boards, I decided to use mousesavers' advise and buy
each piece of the trip separately.
Since we just decided this morning I have nothing planned. Will probably try to get a charater dinner.

We were there 12/00. I hope there's still plenty of magic left!

Any feedback/advise is welcome.

Just found your post...I am so excited right now ..only 9 days to go ~ we are heading to WDW on the 16th also! (we are flying in late the 16th then heading to the Poly on the 17th -20th)
It is my first trip and dh and I are surprising 7 yr old dd who has never been there either! yipppee! We are going on the Disney Wonder also from the 20th-24th..what a great way to get out of the midwest!! I can't wait!

We fly out of Milwaukee, WI on Feb. 3 and can't wait!:pinkbounc It's me my husband, 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law, and his parents. We are Disney FREAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Staying at All-Star Sports for 10 nites. Have been going to Disney since 1989. and staying on propery since 1996. We love to stay on property, and we tell anyone who goes that once you stay on property you're hooked!!!!!!!!!:jester: I hope you have a wonderful time. YES! 33 days and counting! 4 children(counting husband) our daughter will turn 1 yr. and 4 days later we leave!!! Never been with a baby. Staying at CBR and wonder how that will be?

3 DAYS TO GO!!!

All the planning, all the waiting. It's almost here. 6 nights at OKW (2BR villa) with my immediate family (DW and 2 DS's) and my DM, DF & DB joining us from Tenn. It's been 4 years for us... when the boys were 6 & 9. We promised them another trip when they got a little older... and the time is now. Hope the weather is OK... long range calls for most days in the low to mid 70's... I can live with that!!

We'll also be staying an additional 2 nights over at the Hard Rock Hotel to do some Universal things (without my folks) to top off the trip! Not sure who's more excited, me or the kids!! Well, I guess the youngest is... he was packed 3 days ago!! LOL

Part of me doesn't want it to get here too quickly... because I know it's gonna be great and be gone and past us in no time. But trust me... that's only a real small part of me!!! The rest of me says... LET'S GO!!!!
