MGM Swap Progress Thread--ALL HERE!!!

We're all here!! I'm hoping to get them ready to ship out to you by Monday (4/30)!! Thanks for making this an awesome swap!!


Our due date is April 26th. That is when I need to receive your package. Please mail by April 19th to make sure it gets here. I will be sorting as soon as I have everything, and I will be mailing back to you on or before May 2nd. That's a firm mailing date because that is state testing week at my school, and it is CRAZY.

If you have not checked in the week of April 7th, I will be sending PM's to make sure we are all still here. If I do not hear from you within 2 days of the PM, I will angel the spot.

My embellishments arrived in the mail today. I am so in love with them I can't wait to start these, but I have to finish up the surprise swap first. I really wish I didn't have to work this weekend - I'm in a prime swapping mood! Let's hope that mood lasts till Tuesday!

Aww, thanks!! The trip was AWESOME! We had great weather, although it was a little cool a couple of mornings--this is good, though, it was an excuse to buy a sweatshirt!! :thumbsup2

I think that I took almost 700 pics, and then we had a little over 300 on the PhotoPass CD. I have to go through those and sort them out today to get ready to scrap.

I have to admit, I do have a pixie dust hangover!! It is so hard to come back!! As DH says, "just remember that we work so we can go to WDW!" :)

All the instructions I have ever seen for slide mounts are for 2 slide mounts or 4 deco squares. I'm doing slide mounts and I'm doing 2. Hope this helps!

Yep, 2 slide mounts is terrific! I couldn't post from work (have I mentioned before how that stresses me out??? :rotfl2: ), so that's why it's taken me forever to post!! :thumbsup2

Glad they arrived. I took my girls to see a production of High School Musical at a local high school last night- it was really good and it made us all the more excited to see the rally at MGM. That music is so catchy!!

You are so right about the music! We were in Walmart the other day looking for a birthday card, and they had a High School Musical one that played one of the songs when you opened it. I had that song stuck in my head ALL day!! :)

My Tower of Terror stuff is basically done. I am looking for something for the tag, but if I can't find it, it is good to go.

I have supplies, for the General MGM stuff, have the quote part printed out, but I haven't found the right combination to put everything together yet.

After doing the newbie MGM and this swap, I'm finding that I just don't have it when it comes to MGM. Seems like a struggle to come up with something interesting.

I finally figured out something to do for my borders. I'm not thrilled thrilled with it, but it will do. And if people don't like it, they are easily taken apart to have 6 squares instead. I want to finish assembling them tonight, and they'll go out next week sometime.

We managed to clean up and get out by 7 and the couple were here for about 35-40 minutes (we kept driving in circles waiting for them to show up and leave since the girls were in their jammies we couldn't shop or anything) anyhow send some Pixie Dust our way that they are the ones (we did have another showing this afternoon too) Tomorrow is my B-day so an offer would be a GREAT B-day Present!

I am finished with this swap and plan to mail tomorrow, SIOH. My topper for One Man's Dream ended up being kind of a topper / paperpiecing and has some delicate edges, so I wrapped those elements in seran wrap on a cardboard back for each one. All I had was green seran wrap left over from Christmas...sorry! You can remove to photograph.

I will confirm after I mail.
