I was planning a 2008 family visit to Orlando (went in 2005, 2006, and already in 2007 for the marathon, 2008 for the marathon) and was thinking it might be nice to do Paris. I can't get any prices online even for 2007. I get wacky errors. Could someone provide me with an guesstimate of pricing for Paris? Is is comparable to orlando, mod to mod, deluxe to deluxe?? Many thanks! Do many people do "Paris" while they are there?

Hi jmpellet and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here (http://www.wdwinfo.com/guidelines.htm) and details regarding help on signatures here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=976007)

Not sure what errors you are getting but I'm sure we will all try and help.
What dates are you thinking of going? Is your visit to DLP part of a wider Europe mainland tour or would you be coming across from UK?

Have a look at this (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1269844) helpful thread :)

if you are having problems with the DLRP website you can switch the country (and convert from Euros to Dollars)

Or I like this site - place your dates and choose your hotel for a quote in Euros

Do many people do "Paris" while they are there? This is one question which really irks me so I will try and stay helpful as I am on the friendly boards... :goodvibes While I love Disney and am fortunate enough to visit a Disney park every few months, there is far more in the world than Disney. Anyone taking a trip from North America who has never seen Paris to see DLRP who doesn't consider spending as much or more time in Paris than they do in Disney is missing a wonderful opportunity to learn and broaden their horizons. (That's my restrained response.... which means OF COURSE! :) )

I think many many visitors will also do Paris! I read many TR on this board and even people with little children do one or two days Paris!

Paris is a must! We always do 4 days DLRP and 1 or 2 days Paris! There is so much to see and do in Paris!

I agree with both Marcus and Bavaria - Paris is also a must:goodvibes

We went for the first time in December after dragging ourselves away from the parks, and we are really glad we did. :thumbsup2 Its is such a cultured city that also has a magical feel about it.

We only managed to do the ET and The Seine cruise and cant wait to go again to do the open top bus tour and a bit of retail therapy!!

Or, alternatively, you can be a real philistine like me. I have never been to Paris and don't have any desire to go. I only go abroad to go to Disney, and if they had built 'EuroDisney' in the UK, I would never leave these shores.:)

Do what feels right for you.:hippie:
