If anyone heard a woman screaming at the top of her lungs on 3/30, it was probably me when my bid was accepted at Priceline. I GOT A 4* STAR HOTEL FROM PRICELINE FOR $52 a night(this includes tax)....

My husband couldn't understand why I was so excited. When I finally calmed down and explained that we will only be paying $417 for 8 nights at Wyndham, my husband began screaming with excitement. My husband couldn't believe that we were able to get any DECENT hotel for under $100 a night in the WDW vicinty or Lake Buena Vista area.

I did TWO (yes TWO) separate bids for different dates and was lucky enough to get the same hotel WYNDHAM Resort and Spa Palace. My bids included the $20 bonus from Amex.

First bid came to $229. 75 (5 nights/ $39 + $20b)
Second bid came to $188.23 (3 nights/ $39 + $20b)
I had to bid $15 more a night on my second bid.
TOTAL $417.98

I am so happy! I wanted to spend no more than a $1000 for eights nights. I have saved $500+ and I am staying at a nice hotel. During my last trip, I paid $1,040 for 8 nights. Eventhough I was happy with the hotel, I was really hoping to get a better deal on our hotel stay.

I would like to give a big THANK YOU, to everyone who contributes their information and time to this board! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Were you able to place a bid with Priceline? This was my first bid with Priceline and I was a little worried. I am just lucky that there are so many kind folks on this board who are willing (sometimes three and four times) to explain different promotion offers.
