Hello there,

I was just wondering whether I should be arranging some trip cancellation insurance for our upcoming trip. We have a room only reservation for 12 nights, (6 adults) at OKW (expensive!, but a great place to stay!). I know that if the trip was cancelled 5 days before our arrival, we would be ok. and within 1 - 5 days we would have to pay 1 night. But what if we were in the middle of our trip and had to leave, would Disney make us pay for the remaining nights?..also, I believe the park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable, so I guess we should only purchase them when we arrive?

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks:)

I bought my park tickets from Undercover Tourist and they actually have a genreous refund policy. They ship them in a sealed plastic bag, and as long as they are still sealed in the bag, they can be returned. (Maybe there is a small restocking fee - not sure.) I'm pretty sure the tickets are generic until you use them - at the parks they do some finger scan thing that makes them "yours" and only yours from the first use.

I'm not 100% certain about this, but I think if for some reason you had to leave during your trip you could still purchase the non-expiration option for your tickets. That way whatever days you had remaining, you would be able to use at some point in the future. I hope someone will come along and confirm - I can't remember where I read that.
