when is the best prices ususally available? Is it best to book as soon as they release the rates? I don't need to book til winter 07-08 so i have time, but wondered if is best to book as soon as they release or do they go down a few weeks after being released>

BYW- when do they release rates SWA for DEC.JAN.FEB 07-08??:confused3

Your best bet is to book as soon as the rates are released!

There is no guarantee that they will go down.

They release usuall 90 days out? But if you keep checking the Transportation Board, someone there will post!

I booked our flights for May as soon as they were released in November. The price stayed flat for a while but the availability disappeared immediately. A few weeks ago the price for the same flights went through the roof and more seated were opened up. This week the price has gone back down but it is still $10 higher than I originally paid. I would also say book as soon as the flights open up.

Keep checking the website. Our flights for May were at the end of the window they opened in November. If I hadn't been looking on these boards I would have missed the opportunity.
