I want to book out Sept/Oct 2007 trip soon, do you think I should hold out to see if free dining is coming or what? Anywone know when it was announced last year?

It was announced the beginning of April last year. Only Disney Visa holders could book the first 3 days, then if was open to the general public. Time will tell if it happens again.

Personally I would book my package now so I get the room I want - if the free dining comes out call ASAP and have it applied to your existing package.

It was announced April 4th last year to the public.
They may not even offer it this year because booked rooms are up so much because everyone is booking for the room they want and the dining resv. in hopes of the package which is usually offered because of low attendance!

Wait for the free dining offer. Keep the reservations down so Disney needs to offer incentives to fill up their resorts. The more reservations they have the less likely they will need to offer free dining.

Its hurricane season, and you will be able to book any resort you want, with or without free dining.............

What will Disney do when everyone who already has a room booked in hopes of free dining cancels if they don't offer it???? Hmmmm???

UGH! I thought it was April 1st! Why is the time going so slowwwww? I can't take the suspencepopcorn::

It seems like resorts are already booking up. We werent able to book a Savannah delux room at AKL for all of August. We may be forced to switch hotels and I really hate that. I think they save rooms for DVC. I could get into any Castle breakfast, lunch or dinner for any day during our stay but had a problem finding a room. Something seems fishy.:headache:

I know I am waiting to keep the bookings down so Disney has to offer it....but it's making me Crazy! I want to book now....I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for free dining to come out soon!:)
