I'm not sure how this works and I hope somebody does. Why is it that when you start a thread you do not receive all responses posted? and why do you receive only some or none of posts from a thread you just read?

I am very confused...

You'll only receive email notices for threads you have subscribed to. I usually type a message, which will automatically subscribe you, but I thought I read the other day that there is a way to subscribe without actually posting a message. Haven't looked for that yet.

Also, you usually receive a message that is posted and you won't receive another from that same thread until you've actually visited that thread again. You might go to USER CP up in the left corner of the bar and check your settings for subscriptions, just to make sure you are signed up to receive emails. I would imagine you are if you receive some, but I'd check, just in case.
