DAY 1 ~ We are in Buffalo....Homewood Hilton

Hi ~ Drive to Buffalo was a breeze....two cars in front of us at the border. Why are border towns so old and depressing looking? Getting to the Homewood was easy....nice hotel! The pool and whirlpool are lovely. We will be going for dinner in an hour! More later..... S

dd is depressed and can't wait to get to Florida. Buffalo is upsetting her....it is dark and aged. Although the hotel is very nice, I am also looking forward to Florida too! In hind sight I would have skipped the hotel and just headed to Florida. It's just taking too long to start this vacation! heeheehee!

Hi Sandra. So glad that you're in Buffalo, just waiting for your flight tomorrow. My nephew Matt is on the same flight as you! He starts this week as a CM at the Canada Pavillion in EPCOT. :cool1: So if you see a 6'4" 23 year old, dark hair, very slim, it could be him. :goodvibes His Mom is NancyK from these boards.

This hotel is very nice! Free dinner is like a Shoney's meal. I booked the shuttle for 10:15am tomorrow morning. Flight leaves at 11:55am.

I think I will freak out Matt and tell him that I'll see him at Epcot! heeheehee

Hi from Paris, Ontario. We just got back from Disney Saturday night, and we drove it. DD18 got to drive through the mountains on the way home,she did a great job.:thumbsup2 I heard that the weather is going to be in the hi 70,s- low 80's for yous. HAVE FUN IN THE SUN !
