chemo pt. meal ideas

I have signed up to provide a meal for a family who's Mom has started chemo. Any ideas what would be good for the whole family?

But when my mother in law was doing chemo- she sure liked sugar cookies- in fact it was about the only thing she was keeping down. Just something plain and sweet was really good to her.

If you need a main course sort of meal I'd go for something like shepherds pie, lasagne or a casserole that's easy to heat up, and if she doesn't fancy eating when they do she might want a little bit of something.

Or mashed potato?
