Does anyone have this? I was looking for clip art of rides. I am especially looking for Mickey in front of the elevators at MGM Tower of Terror. This the book? I see one on ebay, but can't find any pics of inside pages.

Any other ideas for clip art of rides?

I have 2 different park coloring books. I will flip through them and see if I can find what you are looking for. As for other ideas, PINS! If you get a nice scan of a pin, erase the background it works great too. I will look at my ToT pins too.

Well, I checked the coloring books. One only had an outline of the building. The other had the Fab 5 in an elevator. To answer your PM (in case others were curious). I bought the 2 coloring books because I thought I could turn them into paper piecings. So far I haven't used them. Thankfully I only paid about a $1 for them. Most of the pictures are of characters. There are some ride photos but the images tend to be pretty complicated (lots of tiny detail) and I've been two chicken to try and turn them into something. If you are able to get them cheaply (one of the outlet stores, maybe) they might be a good pickup.

I looked at my ToT pins too. Unfortunately, I only have 3 of them, and I'm not sure any of those would work either. 2 are kinda ugly and the other the detail is again so small, I don't think it would work.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. Ride logos, artwork is certainly an area that is limited.

I too looked at the colouring books I have purchased (for the same reasons to do paper piercing - haven't done one yet)....but I did find a picture of Mickey standing at the TOT elevator. It is in the Disney Bear colouring book and he is also in the picture with Mickey but could easily be eliminated. Here's the picture...Is this what you are looking for?

Mickey&JoshNut: I was also looking for something like this. My son just returned from Disneyland in California and could not find any coloring books. I am looking for anything from the Teacups with Alice and friends. I saw a paperpiecing from a scrapbook with Alice, Mad Hatter, etc. riding in the teacup. Does your coloring book have anything like this?

Ijust discovered this site...and this thread! Its great!!!!

I"m just wondering if you'd be interested in sharing other pages? I went to Disneyland a couple of months ago and I'm kicking myself for not picking up the colouring book! I've seen it on Ebay...but wasn't sure if it would have the characters on the ride pics....

I would love it if you could share some more....Jungle Cruise...Splash Mountain....pirates of the caribean...

I would be forever greatful...:cool1:

I would love to help you out but someone sent me a PM and reminded me that I was posting copyrighted pictures. Since I do not want to get into trouble, I will not be posting any more pictures from the colouring books.

I did look and there are some Pirates, Jungle Cruise and Splash Mountain pages in both the Disneyland and Disneyworld colouring books.

True, but these are all over ebay too, just can't get a good copy because they are mostly a scan of a paper piecing. I was just curious if I should buy the book. I would hate to spend the money and not get any usable pages for swaps.

I really appreciate the pics posted. So, if the characters are shown on the rides, then I might just got for it. If they are like the TOT one, because that one is great!

Is there a thread that explains how to translate that cool elevator graphic into a paper pieced project? I've never done it before, but I like the look.

I have several Disney coloring books, including a DL one from MANY years ago. I use them (copy from the books) for several things: (l) for background paper, as they are black and white, and make your photos stand out, (2) I shrink them to about an inch across, and use a strip of them for a border, (3) If I don't have enough photos for a lay-out, I will include a cb page made the size of a photo, (4) I copy the title of a ride onto colored paper and cut around it, (5) I've used a black and white cb page where I substituted OUR FACES -- on rides like Splash Mt., getting on a plane, at the beach, etc....

Where is a good place to find Disney coloring books? Other than the parks that is?

Fantastic idea- I planned on scrapbooking about the pin trading, but hadn't thought of that! :cool1:
