Any recommendations for reasonable OFFSITE for 2nights in Dec. ??

OK, I need ya'll's help on this one....:surfweb: .....We need an OFFSITE for the two nights preceeding our DVC stay @ WDW in December......Sunday 12/9 & Monday 12/10. DH would like to see Kennedy, and since I REFUSE to give up one of my WDW days, this is our compromise. We are two adults--we want something decent (no bugs & nothing from the 1970's) that won't cost over $80.00/night. Will have a car, so distance from WDW isn't an issue.

Any suggestions/recommendations ?!? :confused:

If you haven't been to KSC yet...you won't be dissappointed in a daytrip there and maybe on to Vero Beach or Daytona Beach for a night or two.

Thanks, but we're actually looking for something that's right OUTSIDE of WDW property....will even consider something as far north as Universal Studios or even Kissimmee. I am just so used to staying on property & it's been so long since I lived in Orlando.....I just can't seem to remember what's where and how "good" it is.:confused3

Our Favourite offsite just now is the Courtyard by Marriott at LBV. Close to Downtown Disney, and plenty of places to eat and drink around it.
I think its the 7th and 8th Dec you are wanting?
On Marriotts website it is $335.25 for the 2 night which is over your budget but we get heavily discounted hotels in UK and a site I use a lot is Alpharooms.com they are based about 20 miles from me and a very good company. You can book from US with them no problem as a few of Diser's have. Their rate for the same 2 nights is $134.70.
You dont pay all upfront, just a deposit now and the balance 5 weeks before travel.
