I want to make my own table number cards for the reception. Does anybody have any templates or sizes that they used that you'd be willing to share. I couldn't find anything using a google search. Thanks!

we just did half sheets and laminated them. they fit fine in the table number holders...ask your planner how the holders are so you can make sure that the holder part doesn't obscure your design...

I think that table numbers can be any size or shape, and look any way that you like. :hippie: We used half sheets of thick scrapbook paper that had a pretty Fall floral design already on them, and printed them out on our computer. We had a cute image of a little Fall squirrel, and in large print, Table A or Table B... We also brought our own table number holders.

If you are using Disney's 'table name stands' I agree that perhaps you'll want to know the size of the holders before you make the name cards. I find that a good rule of thumb for these things is to stick with standard photo sizes (3x5, 4x6, 5x7, etc.). The reason I say this is that usually there are a number of different holders (photo frames, photo 'easels', etc.) made for these sizes, and therefore you will have a variety of choices. Of course, your other choice is to make 'tent fold' cards that stand on their own and don't require holders of any kind.

The ones I made for my own wedding were 5x7, and we used crystal frames to hold them. Here's a picture:
