Planning May 08 - BWV or BCV

I know I can't book anything yet, but I'm planning a trip for early May 2008. I own at BWV, and was originally thinking I'd book there. But, since I'd be traveling with 2 small kids (1 yr and 2 yrs), they might enjoy the pool at BCV more.

However, what are my odds of being able to book a 2 bedroom at BCV at the 7 month window?

Can I book BWV at 11 months (since I own there) and then cancel that and book BCV instead at the 7 month window if that's available?

Any advice is appreciated (incl. if my view on the pools is right, since I've never been to either resort with young kids).

Better to book at BWV at 11 mons out , then once 7 mon. window opens, change it to BCV, i would do a day by day ressie just to make sure. I just finished my day by day ressie couple of days ago for Oct., I originally booked at SSR(home resort) then changed it day by day to BCV, not sure if i was just lucky to get a studio to think that its around F & W festival or maybe bec. it's the first week of F & W.

Yes, I would book boardwalk view at BWV, then try to switch if you want. I'd do that just because of the nice view and they are the same amount of points, so no worry about having extra points. We have only brought our young DGC to VWL, and they love that pool, but I have thought that the sprinkling circus animals would make BWV's pool a good one for them. It's the "no dedicated 2 bedrooms at BWV" that has prevented us from going to BWV. My family likes the 2nd queen, not a sofa bed. Maybe we'll pool hop this time, I do think they are missing something special at BWV's pool.
