When I was at Port Orleans Riverside on February 25 I mailed myself I letter. I afixed a .75 cent stamp to the letter and put it in the mailbox at PO. I didn't put I return address because I didn't have one. I have yet to recieve my letter. Has anyone mailed anything from WDW and have any problems?

it seems to take longer to do it through WDW then the regular USPS not sure why - maybe they don't pick up at WDW every day like they would at off site post boxes.

we were back almost 2 weeks when the post card we sent to Cassandra arrived - we sent it the day after we arrived and we were down there for 3 weeks.

I mailed stuff to family & friends on the same date ... none of it has arrived.

Mailed from Pop Century Mail drop. As always.. I blame Canada Post ;)

it seems to take a couple of weeks longer from the states. I mailed some postcards last Mar.and they took 3weeks to arrive. My friend lives in SC and it always takes about 2 weeks to receive mail from her, don't despair.

The last time I sent a postcard from Disney it took 3 weeks to get here! I've gotten postcards from Europe in less time

Very good incentive to email postcards! Is it at EPCOT where you can do that? Or DisneyQuest? Anyone know?

(I would have taken offence to the Canada Post joke, since mumsy works there, but since moving to the city, I've witnessed some horribly bad service!!)

That was me ... and actually 'in-country' I find CP to be sometimes (most times) amazingly good.

But international service between USA and Canada.. which should be seamless is horrible going both ways.

I know the US Post is generally speaking -- pretty darned good. I mail stuff within the US from a US Post Office on a fairly regular basis and it's very quick from the deep woods of Maine .. to just about anywhere in the lower 48.

Something about the way US and Canada exchange mail.. really gums up the works.

If memory serves - the email video post card is in EPCOT

Inoventions i believe.

Hubby thinks they are getting rid of it soon though so it may not be there much longer.
