Do they pre-assign rooms at Marriott condos?

Would you be more likely to get a certain request (like a renovated unit) if you called a few days before arrival? We are staying at CHR but touring Horizons on a special so I'm guessing owners get the prefered rooms anyway. Just wondered if anyone had any experience. Thanks.

That's great to read! Have they all been renovated? I had read something referencing being very nice as long as you got a renovated unit. I know all Marriotts are fairly nice. Do you know anything about the renovations at CHR? Was it anything like CPR where ALL of phase I was renovated over a certain time period a few years back? I've heard Sheraton Vistana Resort can be hit or miss as far as the villa depending on if you get a renovated unit or not. Wondered if CHR was similar since it is a bit older.

GV was awful in their unrehab rooms.

but I have never heard anyone complaint of any of the villas at MCH - before or after - pretty certain they are though - it was in 2005 & 2006 that they were working on the rehab.

okay I looked at some reviews the last reported unrehab was in October, 2006

so you are correct there still could be some around.

there were not major problems - just that everything looked old.
