View Full Version : Has anyone very recently stayed at the caribe royale ?
the reason I meant very recently was because I stayed there several years ago when they had just opened and it was brand new and great service. I would like to know how is the service, room, breakfast?
thanks

We're staying our first few nights in early June for DH's work conf. and I'd also love to find out how this resort is.(staying in the villas) It looks nice on the website but I'd like to have first-hand info. also.
My sister and her family stayed at the Caribe Royale last September and said it was great!

I stayed there in April. Location is great, pool is great and hotel looks clean and new.
Rooms with 2 beds are full sized (double) not queen as website seems to claim. Breakfast is ok (edible) but not great (but free). The rooms are in 3 towers, you can get a continental breakfast in each tower or a hot breakfast buffet in the check in building. Hot breakfast is NOT LIKE EMBASSY SUITES. The buffet is basically more like cafeteria quality than restaurant quality. It is edible but if it wasn't free you probably wouldn't pay for it.
The hotel has a lot of conventions. Towers 1 and 2 have refrigerators in the suites. Tower 3 has mini-bars instead.

We thought it was ok but it is definitely not Disney...
