Hi, I'm not sure if I'm in the right thread for this but you all have so many wonderful ideas, it can't hurt! So here goes....

I'm trying to put together a Cinderella shower for my sister. Any ideas for table centerpieces? I'm on a budget, unfortunately, since I'm her only bridesmaid. I thought maybe a crown or two on a table but I'm not sure if I should but something in the middle? Candle maybe?? It doesn't have to be a crown- it was just a thought. I just want it to be girly so she feels like a princess!

how about a Tiara instead of a crown. That way the candle in the middle will make the jewels sparkle! I love your idea! run with it! :wizard:

When is the shower? If it is not until fall, it would be neat to use a pumpkin in the centerpiece somehow. You could maybe even paint it white with glitter, then hollow it out for a vase.

What about a 'glass' slipper on a mirror surrounded by rose petals?

The tiara on a mirror base surrounded by candles would be very pretty also.

Or, there's a really neat glass carriage on this website:

It costs around $30, but it could be a keepsake.

Do a google search for Cinderella centerpieces. There are several neat ideas out there.

For DD's wedding we made the centerpieces. We purchased glass carriages at the dollar store and placed it on a glass mirror. The mirror was on a block of floral foam that was filled in with silk roses and ivy to match her flowers. We then wound little battery lights through each one. I thought they turned out well and since we purchased the lights after Christmas and everything else was on sale we paid less than $6 per centerpiece!!!

This sounds gorgeous! Do you by any chance have a picture??

I know you can order the Funkins (fake pumpkins) from online somewhere. (The Funkins website is expensive, so see if you can find them somewhere else! Maybe Ebay?) My girlfriend is going to do this for my shower except some will have our initials carved in the funkin, others will be coated in glitter. Then I can use them for my fall wedding for decorations for the signing table and the seating arrangment table.
You could also buy some cheap 5x7 frames, and visit the Photography board. See if you can find some great unique castle shots (castle, castle and lagoon, wishing well, inside CRT, the mural outside the restaurant, rose garden, etc...) print them off the computer for inside the frames. Then you can give the frames away as prizes.

HTH!

For my cinderella themed wedding I had glass carriage centerpieces as well as glass castles and a crystal tower clocks that were set to a few minutes before midnight.
