Has anyone not been called for a waitlisted room?

We're waitlisted for a 2 bedroom at SSR for April 1-6. This is our first time on a wait-list. Do you think I might still have a chance of getting the 2 bedroom with less than 3 weeks until our check-in date?

Just received a call for a studio at BCV's for April 15th......

I did not clear a waitlist for BCV last August and have one now for either BWV or BCV for March that I don't think will clear.

It's not a big deal if I don't!

The BCV in August I thought might clear I got on for a 2 Bedroom months in advance. the current one I just got on about two weeks ago so chances were slim!

It doesn't sound too promising. We do have a 1 bedroom booked so I know we're still going. This trip is my 50th birthday present and my DD's 16th birthday present. We decided to bring a friend for my DD.I was hoping to be able to get a 2 bedroom so they could have some privacy. I could've
booked it originally but there were only 3 of us going at the time. I'm so sorry I didn't.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

How often did yiou call and check on the waitlist?

We were on a waiting list for any resort for any room size this past January (for the 1/2 marathon). Our wait list didn't come through. There was no timeshare rooms available anywhere. We had to play cash for a room (that is blasphemy:rotfl: )

Call to verify that you are still on the waitlist..I thought it dropped off at 1 month out, unless you called and renewed it.

Make sure you do the call in when the waitlist ends at 7 days out. In early December I called after my waitlist expired and six days out from check in got my original waitlist......a BWV 1 bedroom...standard view. I know I was very lucky but obviously anything is possible!!

A few years ago we were waitlisted for a studio at VB. We didn't find out that it came through until we were checking in. Nice surprise!

The next day we were at lunch when DH gets a phone call. He had won a trip to WDW for the marathon. We were already signed up for it so they fixed us up with some other things.

We got our waitlist while we were are the BCV for our last night there. They didn't call us though. I went up to the front desk Tuesday late afternoon asked them to check and room came available for Thursday night so we didn't have to move to OKW. Good luck

I was waitlisted for what I thought was a 2 bedroom at the BWV's. I kept checking online to see if it came thru. I had to call ms concerning another trip and inquired about my waitlist. Ends up they had me waitlisting for a STUDIO and not the 2 bedroom. It was set up for automatic and I am sooo glad it didnt come thru! So now I have started the waitlist all over again for a 2 bed-

Last Thanksgiving, I was waitlisted for several months. They called me 3 days before arrival to say that Thanksgiving had come thru!:yay: I hope the GV waitlist comes thru at Christmas:worship:

I did call MS yesterday to make sure they had us waitlisted for the correct room. They did. I do keep checking but so far nothing has come through yet. I'm still hoping it works out.

We got our call a few days ago...only on the list for less than a week. It was for BWV in Aug. for 4 weekday nights 2 bedroom BW VIEW. I was thrilled. :)

My waitlist expires tomorrow and it doesn't appear I will clear. LOL!

I may call next week and see what I can do, but I think I may be happier at SSR anyway.
