do you qualify for the disney dining plan? Or is that available only if you book through disney direct?
Which is better to book through? Expedia has POR for $170 Cdn......I'm guessing about $150 US. Is that a good deal....should I go about this a different way. Please help a newbie out!
You guys are great. I am so glad I found this discussion board.
Thanks in advance

Hi:wave2:
I always book directly through Disney Travel Company
and it seems to be
a good price compared to other travel sites
that add a fee for there services,
anyway this make me feel like to have the control
in making my own travel plans.:thumbsup2

I used a local travel agent and got the dining plan so I know you don't have to go through Disney. I would have to assume it would be the same with Expedia.

I wouldn't book through Expedia or Travelocity. I would book through Disney, AAA or your TA.

I believe (correct me if i'm wrong) that Expedia or Travelocity is going to get you a room only reservation which does not qualify for the DDP you must book a package (room, tickets, DDP).
Any TA can get this because although you are booking through a TA - they are booking through WDTC.
I recommend Dreams Unlimited Travel (https://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/reservations/package-res.cfm)- one of the major sponsors who make these great boards available to us all for free.....
