ok, I am so ready to start our 2006 trip. Anyone have any clue when the new Disney Cricut cartridges are actually coming out? I pre-ordered mine, & I originally thought they said March.....but I'm getting inpatient!!!

I read on one online store's website that they would be available on the 31st.
I assume that is the date everywhere. I would have hoped it would have been earlier in March.

I was on the Cricut website just this morning, and it looks like you can actually order it now, but they are out of stock. The release date that they are showing is 2/28, so I don't know if that matters or not.
I have a feeling that these are going to be hard to get for a little while. I know I would love to have one.

I have been waiting for a date since I pre-ordered mine. On the website it states that they will not be shipped until April and into May. I guess it depends on how far down the list you are on the pre-order. I ordered mine from CrazyScraps.com since it was free shipping and was selling for $79.99 instead of the $99.99 I've been seeing. Can't wait to play with these cartridges! :cool1:

Sounds good to me. Did you order both cartridges or just one. I just ordered the Mickey & Friends cartridge and now I'm thinking I should have ordered both. I'll probably have to wait longer for the second one ordering it at this point. I may call them on Monday to see what the ship date they have at this point and I'll let you know.

P.S. I have only been scrapbooking about 7 months and traveled to Birmingham to attend my first crop with my sister. We were both doing Disney pages and everyone liked the font I was using for my pages. I used the Tear Drop cartridge with a shadow and it did look somewhat "Disney-like". I've stopped doing the Disney pages until I get my cartridge - can't wait!! :goodvibes

Thank you Lisa! I called crazyscraps that I originally ordered from and they said it would not ship until the end of April. I asked why since they were ready in March and she said she didn't know. I then saw Lisa's post about scrapbook101.com and called them. They said the cartridges should be delivered to them the week of March 12th and then the following week they would be sending them out. I then said "so by the end of March we would be receiving our orders?" and she said "Yes". I then cancelled my order with crazyscraps and ordered BOTH cartridges thru scrapbook101! I'm just too excited! :cool1:

I called scrapbook101 on Friday and they hadn't received their shipment yet. I'm hoping they will be shipping by the end of March like their website says. Maybe if someone else who has ordered from their could call by the end of this week and check on shipping and let us know. I'm afraid they will know my voice - LOL :rotfl:

You two sound like me! I'm itching to get these carts!!! My only concern is how hard it's going to be to piece the character cut-outs together. Any idea on how that might work?

I only have font carts right now, and I'm just wondering how you'd be able to cut out the 3-4 different colors that go on a character.

I spoke to Scrapbook101 this afternoon and the gentleman said they expect to receive their shipment by Tuesday and turn the orders around starting Wednesday. Scrapbook101 is in MI to give folks an idea how long it will take to reach them. Will be shipped priority mail.

Now, let's see . . . if they mail them out on Wednesday/Thursday-ish priority mail from MI, and I live in VA, and it takes three days for my P.O. to mail a letter across town, maybe I'll get my Disney carts sometime in the third week of April? :)

Yippee - thanks so much for sharing! There are a few posts on a different thread about the Disney cart's, a few people didn't have flesh colored cardstock on hand. Sure enough, neither do I! I'm hoping I can get to the store before my carts come, because I'm sure I'll want to play right away!

Don't know for sure, but I think the P.O. says priority mail is three day? It's early, and I haven't had any coffee yet!

I ran in the house and fixed meatloaf for the family, put it in the frig and told them what time to put in oven. Fixed the sides and their dinner is ready! :thumbsup2

DD (7) and I were playing with my Disney cartridge last night (my Mother's Day present :rolleyes: ) when she announced to me that she wanted her own Cricut! :lmao: Oh, what have I started?!??!!!

Here is my first Mickey with the Disney Cricut cartridge Mickey & Friends. It is size "4". Going to get busy and decorate Easter bags (Donald for one DS and Pluto for other DS). Need to play with the other cartridge and alphabet. :goodvibes
