I just got an e-mail from Lily that Byetta pens, once started, may be kept unrefrigerated up to 77F and out of direct sunlight. This uncomplicates life a lot

My dr. just decided to prescribe this to me today...I am scared to death because I am terrified of needles and then me having to poke myself really upsets me, but he assures me that it won't hurt. HAHAHA I figure if I can prick my finger 5 times a day I can do this right?:confused3


Does it make you nauseous when you begin it? I will continue to take 500 mg Metformin 2x a day with it.

This is great news!!! I am thrilled. Still means carrying the thermos in the summertime when traveling, but I can just pop it in my purse when going out to dinner most of the time.
