Any info would be appreciated. Especially about the pool and food choices.

We stayed there last June. it was nice, friendly staff, large rooms. The transportation service is great....You get enight and EE priv. Be sure to become a Marriott Rewards member before your trip. There is a special check in/check out desk and it avoids the long lines.

Did it have a nice pool? What size were the rooms compared to Disney hotels?

Antonia,
You took the words right out of my mouth. I was wondering the same. Especially about the pool.

Plus there's a link somewhere where they'll add 5.00 to your bid of 25.00 more. I think it's an extra 5.00 per night. The only thing is there's no guarantee that you will get this hotel. I didn't know anything about the hotel but when I found out it's affiliated with disney and you get ee to the parks I was very happy.

I think the rooms are above average in size, at least in the tower...there is also a nice balcony.
The pool area is nice, but not overly fancy. There is one large pool that seems to attract the adults and teens, a smaller shallow adult size pool that parents swim with their little ones and a baby pool. There is also a good sized hot tub. The pool area is very adequate, but if you are looking for a hotel with a state of the art pool area, with slides this pool area will not be for you.

We are also staying at CMDD in September. I got $22/night on Priceline. My kids would love to be in the towers--can you request that? Or are you kind of at their mercy once you get such a great rate? Has anyone successfully done this? Thanks for your help!

We requested the tower.....and they were happy to comply. I talked to a lady named Ginny in reservations at the hotel # and she set everything up and answered all my ??. She was very helpful. We had the 8th floor facing Downtown Disney....I think the tower/balcony rooms are great, but if you have small children watch them very closely on the balconies. My kiddos are older and I still reminded them not to lean over. The balcony is sort of walled and the temptation to lean over is alot. The rooms towards the back on the tower and annex have balconies that face a highway.
