Disney & Bruckheimer teaming up again!

Same people who made Pirates are going to make a movie (or three) on the Prince of Persia (http://www.princeofpersiagame.com/) series.

Nothing really announced yet besides Disney & Jerry are working together again. I've heard about this rumour for a while now, since Bruckheimer got the rights in 2004, and now it's official! Yay!

It's an excellent video game series that most teenagers have played (or should). I hope they stick to the original storylines; there's a lot of potential Pirates-writing that could be done with it.

This sounds good. I just hope that the movie is good, because movies based on video games are generally flawed and not very good.

If the team can make a film in the vein of Pirates however (by taking the theme and expanding it) Prince of Persia could buck that trend. Can't wait to see the result of this. It might just be the next Pirates of the Caribbean.

man i used to play the MS DOS version of this game when it came out! It was my all time favorite game until i was like 16 lol. I have not played the new ones, but this should be an interesting movie, i see it is subtitled after one of the new games. Should be interesting. I suppose in all reality, it is better to make this movie than make a pirates 4, though i would see that too.
